Alec Empire- The Ride

Alec Empire helped invent Digital Hardcore, one of my most favorite types of electronic music outside of House, back in 1994 when he formed the group Atari Teenage Riot in Germany. I'll probably post some of their stuff here at a later date, but for now here is The Ride, off of his 2002 album Intelligence And Sacrifice. It has a Matrix like style to the video also. The video can be viewed below.

  1. Lol, something about his voice... It's robotic, need to learn how to talk like that. Nice to have words in it though, most electro I listen to don't.

  7. Didn't think I would, but I quite like that tune. Reminds me of The Prodigy. A lot.

  8. The video is kinda wierd. Why is the gun and the end covered with pixel?

  9. Phthalo, the Prodigy and Atari Teenage Riot are from the same era, so thats probably why it reminds you of them. And Trolske, I have no idea why its pixelated. Probably some weird German censorship thing.
